Lahore:On the instructions of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, Punjab Police is actively engaged in operations against gangs, and as part of this crackdown, Punjab Police arrested 24 operatives of 10 gangs within 24 hours. From the possession of the accused, 122 weapons including Kalashnikovs, pistols, rifles, revolvers, and shotguns, as well as hundreds of bullets, were recovered.Punjab Police spokespersons while sharing details, shared that 30 motorcycles, 15 mobile phones, 5 cattle, and 2 million rupees in cash were recovered, while 321 proclaimed offenders, 149 court absconders, and 68 habitual criminals were also arrested. During the operations against criminal elements, 4 criminals were brought to justice, 4 were injured, and 3 were arrested. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, while directing the officers, said that operations against criminal elements should continue.
