Lahore :On the instructions of Inspector General Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, the Khidmat Marakaz of Punjab Police are actively engaged in providing digital services to citizens. Continuing this initiative, 52,357 citizens availed policing services from the Khidmat Marakaz during the past week. The spokesperson of Punjab Police, while sharing the details, shared that 17,583 citizens obtained police verification, while 15,375 individuals received police character certificates. Similarly, 1,498 citizens registered lost documents and 5,358 individuals completed tenancy registration. The spokesperson further said that during the current year, more than 1.484 million citizens availed policing services from Khidmat Marakaz. More than 783,000 citizens obtained police verification. Over 360,000 citizens received character certificates. More than 37,000 individuals registered lost documents. 172,251 citizens completed tenancy registration. IG Punjab stated that Khidmat Marakaz are a remarkable flagship project of public service delivery and are providing facilities to citizens 24/7. He further said that millions of citizens across the province, including Lahore, are benefiting from the facilities of police Khidmat Marakaz on a monthly basis, while services are being further upgraded in light of citizen feedback.
