ISLAMABAD,: Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police teams from Shalimar, Sangjani, Bhara Kahu, and Shahzad Town police stations arrested 10 suspects involved in various criminal activities during operations conducted on Thursday.A public relations officer told APP that the police teams recovered 310 grams of heroin, 58 grams of ice, and five pistols with ammunition from the possession of the arrested individuals. Cases have been registered against them, and further investigation is underway.He said that in a parallel operation carried out under a special campaign to apprehend proclaimed offenders and absconders, 25 more individuals were arrested by various police teams.Following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the ICT Police continue their crackdown on criminal elements to maintain law and order in the federal capital.The officer added that Islamabad Police remain fully committed to safeguarding the lives and property of citizens, and no one will be allowed to disturb the public peace.He urged the public to report any suspicious activity to their nearest police station or via the emergency helpline Pucar-15 so that crime can be eliminated through collective cooperation.
