LAHORE,: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif warmly welcomed Sikh pilgrims arriving in Punjab to attend the celebrations marking the birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
She directed the relevant authorities to ensure excellent arrangements and foolproof security for all visiting pilgrims, emphasizing that they are highly esteemed guests of the people of Punjab.
The CM said the province is globally recognized for its traditions of hospitality, tolerance, and generosity.
She said the Punjab government is committed to providing the best possible facilities and a peaceful environment for Sikh pilgrims throughout their stay. “We wholeheartedly welcome our Sikh brothers and sisters to Punjab,” she said, adding that they are “our honoured guests, and we wish to offer them an experience filled with respect, affection, and cherished memories.”The CM said that Punjab takes great pride in promoting interfaith harmony and religious tolerance, which continue to strengthen with time.
