ISLAMABAD:Inspector General of Police (IGP) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi chaired an important meeting to review citizen-facilitation measures, traffic management, and the use of modern technology across the federal capital.An official told APP on Tuesday that DG Safe City Muhammad Haroon Joya, Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Hamza Humayun, SSP Security Zeeshan Haider, and Safe City staff attended the meeting.The IGP Rizvi issued directives to further enhance citywide traffic management through AI-based surveillance, smart cameras, and advanced monitoring tools. He emphasized the importance of using modern technology to resolve traffic congestion, improve enforcement, and strengthen the overall safety framework.He instructed the officers to prioritise citizen convenience, ensure quick response mechanisms, and make traffic planning more efficient through digital systems integrated with the Safe City Command and Control Centre.The IGP Rizvi said that Islamabad Police is committed to providing safe, orderly, and technology-driven mobility for all road users across the federal capital.
