Lahore:Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem met with police employees and their family members at the Central Police Office. IG Punjab listened to the issues of police employees and their families and issued instructions to the concerned officers to provide immediate relief. According to details, on the request for financial assistance by Lady Head Constable Uzma Khanum, IG Punjab directed the Additional IG Welfare and Finance to provide relief. On the transfer request of Stenographer Azhar Shafiq, instructions were issued to the Additional IG Punjab to place the matter under consideration. Similarly, on the request of retired Sub-Inspector Malik Ashraf, SSP Operations Lahore was directed to take necessary action. IG Punjab Abdul Kareem, while issuing orders on other applications related to discipline, administration, promotion and welfare, said that the welfare and well-being of Punjab Police employees and their families is his top priority and timely and effective resolution of their issues will be ensured.
