Lahore:Punjab Inspector General of Police (IGP) Abdul Kareem on Friday directed authorities to enhance security across the province, including Lahore and ensure strict vigilance to maintain law and order. According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, the IGP ordered close monitoring of miscreant elements, including Fitna Al-Khawarij and Fitna Al-Hindustan and directed that foolproof security be ensured at mosques, Imambargahs, shrines, markets and other sensitive locations. He further directed that patrolling be increased around mosques, Imambargahs, business centers and along major roads, while effective monitoring of religious and sensitive sites be ensured through Safe City cameras.
