Lahore:Punjab Police’s annual inter-district sports competitions, organized under the Pakistan Police Sports Board, are in full swing across the province, reflecting great enthusiasm. In continuation of these events, thrilling tug of war and kabaddi competitions were held in the Gujranwala Region, where teams from different districts displayed outstanding sportsmanship and competitive spirit. CPO Gujranwala Sardar Ghias Gul attended the event as the chief guest and appreciated the excellent performance of the players.Spokesperson Punjab Police, while sharing details, said that the Gujranwala team delivered an outstanding performance and secured first position in both tug of war and kabaddi competitions, while the Gujrat team secured second position. In the women’s tug of war competitions, Gujrat team achieved first position whereas the Gujranwala team secured second position. At the conclusion of the competitions, prizes were distributed among the winning teams and players who demonstrated remarkable performances.Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem congratulated the successful teams and players and said that Punjab Police athletes and players are delivering excellent performances in sports activities. He further said that sports activities promote teamwork, discipline, and a healthy spirit of competition within the police force.
