FIA summons 5 PTI leaders in foreign funding case

ISLAMABAD: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Saturday summoned five leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaaf (PTI) in reference to the ongoing probe into PTI’s prohibited funding case. PTI Senior Vice President Arshad Dad was summoned on September 14 while Atif Khan and Jamal Ansari were asked to appear before the agency on September 13 to record their statements.
Likewise, PTI Secretary Finance Sardar Azhar Tariq Khan was called on September 13 and PTI Finance Advisor Siraj Ahmed was summoned on September 14 to address questions during the probe.
FIA had earlier also written to Imran Khan seeking financial details of the party and he did not submit any kind of reply to FIA.
