RAWALPINDI, Oct 10 (NNI): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday said that PTI’s long march will be the biggest protest march in the history of Pakistan, PM Shehbaz and Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah cannot stop the long march.
Addressing public rally in Rawalpindi, the former premier said that it is not the agency’s job to tap the phone or to threaten, adding that they are threatening the people who are supporting long march on social media.
He said that all dacoits are pushing Pakistan into a disaster. The human rights organisations are not taking notice of restrictions on freedom of speech. “Where have the human rights organization hidden today, in our time they have raised each issue,” he said.
He also criticised the amendments to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) law and said that the rulers modified NAB laws to protect themselves from facing accountability in corruption cases. The amended laws were benefiting Asif Ali Zardari, Nawaz Sharif, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and others, he added.
“In our country, the law does not have much clout to apprehend powerful dacoits. Following recent NAB amendments, no one can touch these thieves because the incumbent rulers made these amendments to get out of the cases,” he said.
“The time is near when I will announce the long march call, and I am preparing my nation for the long march. This long march will be the biggest march in history,” Imran added.
“I haven’t told long march’s plan to my team. We know what they [rulers] are going to do but they are completely unaware of our plan,” said Imran.
“We know what you plan to do to counter the march; but you have no idea what surprise we have in store for you,” Imran said while addressing Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah.
He said that the political parties of the incumbent ‘puppet government’ had organised four long marches including two marches by Maulana Fazlur Rehman during the PTI government but they failed to get their desired results.
Imran Khan said that he completed the planning for the next long march, however, he did not tell his team regarding the plan. He claimed that the rulers would never succeed in foiling the plan of PTI’s long march. NNI
