ISLAMABAD, Oct 12 (NNI): Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that he is doing the long march because he considers the incumbent rulers a security threat to the country.
Addressing a seminar in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said that he had decided not to give any position to those who were stacking assets out of the country.
He said that there was a simple case against Shehbaz Sharif for an illegal transaction of Rs 16 billion rupees. “Their cases were waived and NRO was given to them for committing more robberies”, he said adding that the rulers changed the law of the country just to save their theft.
He asked where did the Sharif family get the money to buy Avenfield? Those who were handlers of the corrupts knew everything, he added. Meanwhile, addressing a doctors’ forum, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Chairman said that doctors are opinion leaders in every society.
They enjoy a prestigious place in our society and patients always talk to doctors who do not talk to anyone else even, he added. He urged them to participate in his call to wage jihad against the corrupt rulers.
PTI Chairman said that if he had stacked money abroad he would not have the courage to say ‘absolutely’ not to anybody.
Imran Khan criticized the government’s economic policies and said that a slowdown in the economy will result in more unemployment and it will become more difficult for the salaried class to make ends meet. NNI
