KARACHI: The gold prices in Pakistan’s jewellers market continued to surge despite the yellow metal seeing a visible decrease in value in the international market.
The gold prices in Pakistan saw a nominal increase on the weekend as the price of one tola of 24-Karat gold went up by Rs50 to reach Rs147350.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-Karat gold went up by Rs43 to reach Rs126329.
The 10-gram of 22-Karat gold is being traded for Rs115801.
However, in the international market the price of one ounce of gold was decreased by $12 to reach $1644.The price of silver remained stable in the country as it was being traded for Rs1560 per tola and Rs1337.44 per 10 grams.-PNP
