ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Thursday while addressing a ceremony on the Youth Development Initiative said he was ready for all kind of sacrifices for the sake of the national interests.
He said that a British court has given him a clean chit (in corruption cases).
Taking a dig at the Imran Khan-led opposition, he said those who even did not shake hands with him for the last four years are now asking for a dialogue with them.
PM Shehbaz said he saved the economy from going default. He said if he did not give laptops to the children then whether he should give Kalashnikov to them.
PM Shehbaz launched Youth Development Initiatives in the ceremony to enhance skills of students across the country.
Addressing the ceremony, Shehbaz Sharif said youth makes a major chunk of our population and we will have to further expand these initiatives to equip our young minds with modern education and skills. He said Pakistan’s progress and survival lie in the development of our youth. These initiatives include 2,000 Internships for Young Engineers, 20 Under-Developed Districts Transformation Programme, 250 Mini Sports Complexes Initiative, Pakistan Innovation fund, and 75 National Top Talent Scholarships Programme.
