ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Rana Sana Ullah has alleged that PTI Chairman Imran Khan is planning to spread chaos in Islamabad under the pretext of the long march.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Saturday, he released an audio leak of Gandapur where he can be heard speaking to an unknown person about bringing arms and ammunition.
The interior minister claimed that as per initial investigations details of this conversation have been secured by the ministry, however, he refused to reveal the identity of the unknown person allegedly speaking to the PTI leader.
Criticizing the PTI’s long march, he said that it is aimed at shedding the blood of innocent people in the federal capital. “Khan wants people to die instead of holding a long march,” he said, adding that PTI is planning to destroy and divide the country. “We do not allow armed persons to enter into the capital city, if they try, they will be dealt with an iron hand,” he vowed.
“We have information that armed groups are joining the long march from different cities including Gujrat and KP province with the aim to disturb the peace of Islamabad,” he disclosed. He asked KP IG to arrest the group and recovered ammunition from their custody, otherwise, he will be responsible for any untoward situation in Islamabad, Rana warned.
Rana Sanaullah said that PTI chief Imran Khan wanted to create such a law and order situation that triggers clashes between the people and law enforcement agencies. In other words, he intends to put people in front of the military, he hinted.
Terming Khan’s attitude “undemocratic”, the interior minister said the intentions of Imran Khan are not good. “We have been saying that Imran Khan wants to mislead the nation.”
The interior minister said that a close aide of Khan admitted, Faisal Vawda had said that PTI long march will turn out to be a “bloody march”.
“Vawda was an insider and the PTI immediately distanced itself from the ex-minister’s statement,” he added. PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s anti-state agenda has been exposed, he added. He said Imran Khan is not a politician nor does he have a democratic attitude rather he wants to fulfill the satanic game through a satanic march. The interior minister took a jibe at Imran Khan, saying that Khan is a strange man who understands neither politics nor democracy.
Rana alleged that Khan is a mafia that has no shame. He also caused Imran Khan to inflict irreparable damage to the country’s foreign policy through the cipher conspiracy.
He said that Prime Minister has formed a committee to oversee the long march. The government has no right to prevent them from staging a protest if Imran Niazi wants to do it in a peaceful manner, he said. However, the government will use all its force to stop a siege of Islamabad if the PTI tries to, he said.
