He said that the growth of any language starts from home, so the official documents must be written in English, Urdu and Sindhi.
Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Sindhi Language Authority, Dr. Ishaq Sami said that the purpose of today’s meeting is the growth of our national language. 3,000 languages will be lost in this yearHe said that according to the research, 25 languages are disappearing every year in the world, which is the main reason for not paying the necessary attention to their own languages. He said that currently 74 languages are spoken in Pakistan. It is a language, but the tragedy is that the Sindhi language is being neglected continuously, he saidIn 1972, the Sindh Assembly passed a bill for the promotion of the Sindhi language, which has not yet been fully implemented. Among the great spoken languages, Sindhi language is at number 106 _ He said that 7 thousand of the worldMany languages have perished, for example, the Sanskrit language, which was once a master language, which had about 7,000 languages and went on with its new existence, adopted a new name and form, but Sanskrit was lost. And now as Sanskrit has completely lost its importanceTo highlight, it was decided in 1969 that one day in the year will be celebrated as a memory of Sanskrit – he gave another example and told that many words in English language have gone to Latin language but unfortunately now Latin language has also remained a heritage in Pakistan. There are 7 and a half percent people speaking Urdu language – he said that it is easyThe aim is not to hate any language, but we want to save all the spoken languages of Pakistan.
Speaking in the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad Fawad Ghaffar Soomro said that the Sindhi language is a historical and ancient language which needs to be taken practical steps to save it. Must be written in Sindhi and Urdu to go to Katan and educational institutions will go.
