Wanted members of dacoit gang busted; looted cash and mobile phone recovered

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital police Margalla police team apprehended two wanted members of a dacoit gang involved in robbing citizens and recovered looted cash and mobile phones, a police public relations officer said.
He said that, following the directions of City Police (Operation) Sohail Zafar chatha, the Margalla police team has evolved a comprehensive strategy in order to counter criminal elements involved in snatching incidents from the federal capital.
Following these directives, a Margalla police team used the latest technology and human resources and arrested two wanted members of dacoit gang who were involved in looting peoples.
Police team also recovered looted cash and mobile phones from their possession.
The accused were identified as Abdullah and Faisal khan. Cases against nominated accused have been registered and further investigation is underway.
CPO (Operations) Sohail Zafar Chatha appreciated the police team efforts and further directed all officers that the safety of the lives and property of the citizens is our prime responsibility and no laxity will be tolerated in this regard.
