Lahore:Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that addressing the issues faced by police employees in welfare, discipline, and admin related matters is among the top priorities of Punjab Police. IGP directed all supervisory officers to maintain close liaison with subordinate staff and ensure the prompt resolution of their difficulties. Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized that Punjab Police is like a family, and efforts are being made to resolve the challenges faced by each member. He expressed these views during a meeting with police personnel at the Central Police Office today, where he listened to the requests made by police employees and their families, issuing orders for their resolution.Dr. Usman Anwar directed the AIG Development to take action on request for the transfer of an official flat allotted to Sub-Inspector Iftikhar Ahmed to his daughter, Constable Maryam Iftikhar. He also instructed the Additional IG Investigation to provide relief regarding the reappointment request of retired Inspector Muhammad Aslam as a trainer. On the request of the wife of Head Constable Muhammad Hanif Shaheed for provision of a flat and plot, IG directed the SSP Admin and AIG Development to ensure relief. He also instructed the DIG Establishment-I to provide relief on the promotion request of ASI Syed Manzoor Ali Shah from Khanewal. Dr. Usman Anwar directed the DPO Kasur to take immediate legal action on the application of Traffic Assistant Shahbaz Ahmed. The request for job provision from the wife of late Driver Constable Muhammad Inam Ilahi was forwarded to the DIG Welfare for relief. He directed the AIG Admin to provide relief regarding the transfer request of Class IV employee Muhammad Khaliq-ul-Zaman to Punjab Constabulary Farooqabad. IG Punjab issued further orders concerning welfare, admin, and discipline-related application. He reiterated that the department is committed to providing maximum relief to police employees for both professional and personal issues. He directed RPOs, CPOs, and DPOs to expedite actions for resolving the issues of subordinate staff and the force.
