IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar: Committed to Providing the Best Health Welfare for Police Employees’ Children

Lahore:Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, is actively working for the best health welfare of police employees’ children. In continuation of this effort, an additional fund of 30 lakh 42 thousand rupees has been released for the treatment of children suffering from serious illnesses of employees deployed in various districts. Punjab Police spokesperson shared details that Sub-Inspector Shahzad Ashraf’s daughter is undergoing a kidney transplant, Constable Syed Anwar-ul-Hassan’s son is suffering from a post-fossa tumour, and Traffic Warden Saqib Nadeem’s 4-year-old daughter is undergoing a bone marrow transplant, for each of whom 5 lakh rupees have been provided. Head Constable Muhammad Usman’s 5-year-old son is being treated for thalassaemia, and a fund of 3 lakh rupees has been allocated for his treatment, while Head Constable Ghazi Khurram Sajad’s son, who is being treated for a brain tumour, has been provided 2.5 lakh rupees. The widow of the late traffic warden Muhammad Tauseef has been granted 2 lakh 25 thousand rupees for her son’s heart treatment. Additionally, Sub-Inspector Jahangir Qamar, ASI Matloob Ahmed, Head Constable Muhammad Irfan, and Constable Mudassir Khan have been allocated a total of 3 lakh 10 thousand rupees for their children’s treatment. Similarly, ASI Khalid Javed, Constables Nasir Abbas, Qamar Abbas, and EDC Rab Nawaz have been provided a total of 2 lakh 62 thousand rupees for their children’s treatment. Senior Clerk Muhammad Imran, Traffic Warden Muhammad Touqeer, and Sanitary Worker Muhammad Ramadan have been granted a total of 1 lakh 95 thousand rupees for their children’s medical treatment.

The spokesperson of Punjab Police further explained that the above-mentioned funds were released after scrutiny and approval by the Welfare Management Committee. IG Punjab directed the officers to continue taking further steps to ensure the effective use of available resources for the health welfare of police employees.
