Islamabad: According to the details, additional personnel of Islamabad Traffic Police have been deployed at weekly bazaars following the directions of the Chief Traffic Officer Captain (Retd.) Syed Zeeshan Haider to ensure smooth traffic flow.The aim of this initiative is to keep citizens safe from traffic jams and difficulties while maintaining an organized traffic system around the markets.In this regard, the Zonal DSPs gave a special briefing to the traffic police officers deployed near the weekly bazaars instructing them not to show any negligence in performing their duties.Additionally, traffic police personnel have been assigned to all internal and external routes, parking areas and sensitive locations to avoid any kind of disorder or obstruction.CTO Islamabad has appealed to citizens to park their vehicles only in designated parking areas to avoid disrupting the flow of traffic. Legal action will be taken in case of violations including fines and other measures. He emphasized that ITP is always alert to ensure the convenience of citizens.He urged citizens to follow traffic laws and demonstrate their civility. The protection of citizens lives and property along with maintaining smooth traffic flow in the federal capital remains one of the top priorities of Islamabad Police, he added.
