Sargodha :The Anti-Corruption Department, while taking action, arrested the Naib Qasid of Tehsildar Bhakkar red-handed while accepting a bribe. The Anti-Corruption raiding team, under the supervision of Amir Abdullah Khan, Circle Officer Anti-Corruption Bhakkar, raided and arrested the accused. The accused had received a bribe of Rs 20,000 to get the registry of the plaintiff case passed.The Anti-Corruption Department, in accordance with the vision of the Director General Anti-Corruption Punjab and the Government of Punjab, has started a crackdown to arrest corrupt mafia red-handed while accepting bribes across the division under the supervision of Regional Director Anti-Corruption Sargodha Mudassar Hanif Bhatti. According to anti-corruption sources, Muhammad Sabir son of Noor Muhammad, resident of village Karam Khan, district Bhakkar, filed a petition that the Naib Qasid of Tehsildar Bhakkar, Muhammad Jabbar, is demanding a bribe of Rs 20,000 to get the registry of the plot passed.On which the anti-corruption team said that you should not give bribe but rather arrest the accused red-handed while giving bribe. Regional Director Anti-Corruption Sargodha ordered Circle Officer Anti-Corruption Bhakkar Mir Abdullah Khan to raid, upon which Circle Officer Bhakkar along with his raiding team and under the supervision of Judicial Magistrate Muhammad Aslam raided and arrested Naib Qasid of Revenue Department Bhakkar Muhammad Jabbar red-handed while taking bribe. Marked notes of Rs 20,000 were recovered from the possession of the accused. The anti-corruption team has registered a case against the accused for taking bribe and started investigation.
