LAHORE:Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif paid rich tribute to the security forces for successfullyeliminating 11 Indian-backed terrorists during a security operation, lauding their professionalism,courage and unwavering commitment to national security.In her statement, the chief minister said that elements involved in terrorism deserve no leniency,adding that the protection of citizens and the complete eradication of terrorism remain top prioritiesof the state. She emphasized that the government would continue to take all necessary measuresto ensure peace and stability.“The Pakistani nation stands united and resolute in its determination to eliminate terrorism in all its forms,” Maryam Nawaz Sharif said, adding that the security forces are rendering great sacrifices to safeguard the country and protect the lives of innocent citizens.The chief minister reiterated her government’s full and unwavering support for the armed forces and law enforcement agencies, saying that their relentless efforts are vital for safeguarding national security, maintaining public order and ensuring a peaceful environment across the country.
