Lahore:Constable Asim Raza of Punjab Police, winner of the Gold Medal at the International Bodybuilding Championship, visited the Central Police Office, Lahore, and met Inspector General of Police, Dr. Usman Anwar. IG Punjab congratulated Asim Raza for bringing pride and recognition to the country, the nation, and the Punjab Police at the international level, and awarded him a certificate of appreciation for his outstanding performance. Dr. Usman Anwar said that Asim Raza’s achievement is a matter of honor and pride for the Punjab Police. He directed Asim Raza to utilize his skills and experience to train other bodybuilders of the police department and prepare them for future competitions.Punjab Police spokesperson said that Constable Muhammad Asim won a gold medal and secured a Pro Card in the Classic Physique category at the Bodybuilding Championship held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Constable Muhammad Asim had previously won two silver medals in international competitions held in Las Vegas, USA. Constable Muhammad Asim has been associated with the field of bodybuilding since 2012 and has also earned prestigious titles such as Mr. Pakistan, Mr. Punjab, and Mr. Lahore. IG Punjab said that police officers and officials who demonstrate outstanding performance in national and international sports events are the pride of the department, as they have raised Pakistan’s flag high at the global level through their tireless hard work, dedication, and departmental support.
