ISLAMABAD:The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police has entered into major memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with leading health and educational institutions to enhance welfare services for its officers and their families. An ICT Police spokesperson told dateline on Wednesday that 340 health cards and 254 pensioner cards were issued under a new healthcare agreement, enabling serving and retired personnel to access quality medical facilities at discounted rates. He added that three separate MoUs were also signed with well-known educational institutions to support the children of martyrs, Ghazis and serving officers, who will now receive special fee concessions under the new arrangements. The spokesperson said these initiatives are part of the Logistics Division’s Performance Report for the year 2025, which highlights several welfare-focused reforms implemented across the force. He further stated that the Islamabad Police leadership remains committed to expanding healthcare, education and family-support facilities, adding that additional welfare measures will be introduced during 2026 to further strengthen support for police personnel.
