ISLAMABAD: Islamabad capital police, Sihala police team arrested a wanted member of a bike lifter gang and recovered 02 stolen motorcycles from his possession, a police public relations officer said.
He said that, a police team under the supervision of SHO Sihala utilized all available resources and apprehended a wanted member of a bike lifter gang. The accused was identified as Muhammad Waqas. Police team also recovered two stolen motorbikes from his possession.
During the preliminary investigation, the accused confessed multiple bike lifting incidents from various areas of Islamabad. Case has been registered against him and further investigation is underway. DIG Operations Sohail Zafar Chatha appreciated the police team efforts and further directed all zonal SP’s to intensify the ongoing crackdown against criminals involved in criminal activities. -NNI
