According to the details, 29 senior traffic wardens from Lahore, 05 from Faisalabad, 07 from Multan, and 05 from Gujranwala have been promoted to the post of Traffic Officer (TO) in Grade 17. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar signed the notification of promotion of senior traffic wardens to the post of Traffic Officer in Grade 17. In a video message addressed to traffic wardens, senior traffic wardens, and the promoted officers (TOs), IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar congratulated the promoted senior traffic wardens. He said that 20 years ago, traffic wardens were inducted into the police force, but there was no service structure for them. Today, by the grace of Allah, we are thankful to the Government of Punjab for granting promotions to senior traffic wardens to Grade 17, equivalent to DSP rank. IG Punjab said that the promoted officers will continue their service in the police department. More positions are available in Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, and, InshaAllah, Rawalpindi and will be given according to the merit in coming days. These officers will continue to be promoted based on their seniority, becoming an integral part of the police service dedicated to serving the public. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed all traffic wardens, senior traffic wardens, and officers promoted to the post of Traffic Officer (TO) to continue their work with greater dedication and diligence.
