ISLAMABAD:Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police have arrested 19 criminals during an ongoing crackdown across the federal capital aimed at ensuring citizens’ safety and curbing criminal activities.An official told APP on Friday that police teams from Karachi Company, Sangjani, Noon, and Bhara Kahu police stations apprehended four accused and recovered 120 grams of hashish, 60 grams of ice, and two pistols with ammunition from their possession.Cases have been registered against the nabbed suspects, and further investigation is underway. Meanwhile, during a special campaign against absconders and proclaimed offenders, 15 more criminals were also arrested.SSP Operations  stated that the ICT Police remain committed to protecting citizens’ lives and property and will continue their relentless efforts to make Islamabad crime-free.“No one will be allowed to disrupt the peace of the city,” he said, adding that the safety and security of citizens remain the top priority of Islamabad Police.
