ISLAMABAD:Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Investigation/Operations Muhammad Usman Tariq Butt met complainants of ongoing murder cases under the open-door policy to ensure justice and provide relief to affected citizens.An official told APP on Friday that SSP Butt emphasized the ICT Police’s commitment to protecting citizens’ lives and upholding the rule of law. He directed all officers to ensure the timely arrest of suspects and the fair conclusion of investigations.He said that negligence in handling complaints would not be tolerated and instructed officers to deal with complainants respectfully and transparently.SSP Butt further stated that citizens could contact his office directly or call Pukar-15 if they face delays or harassment after FIR registration, assuring that justice and accountability remain top priorities for the police.
