29 outlaws held; stolen bike, valuable and drugs seized

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital police apprehended 29 criminals involved in criminal activities and recovered stolen bike, valuables,drugs and weapons with ammunition from their possession, a police public relations officer said.
He said that, DIG Operations Sohail Zafar Chatha had ordered all zonal officers to curb the crime in their respective areas and arrest those involved in criminal activities and looting innocent people.
Following these directives, a Aabpara police team arrested two accused namely Muhammad Mushtaq and Muhammad Adnan and recovered stolen valuable sfrom their posession. Likewise, the Phulgran police team arrested 03 accused namely Mohsin Shakeel, Tuwab and Mohsin Ali and recovered 2450 gram hashish and 260 gram heroin from their possession.
Similarly, Sangjani police team apprehanded six accused namely Abdul Majeed, Asad, Noor Gul, Muhammad Azad, Qurban and Ayaz Khan and recovered 3790 gram heroin, 2325 gram hashish and stolen bike from their posession. Khana police arrested an accused namely Adil Ishtiaq and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession.
Moreover, Nilore police arrested an accused namely Usman Ghani and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession. Sihala police arrested two accused namely Hameed Ullah and Arbab Hussain and recovered two 30 bore pistols from their possession.
Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway. During a special crackdown against proclaimed offenders and court absconders police teams arrested 14 accused from different areas of a city.
DIG Operations Sohail Zafar Chatha said that the safety of the lives and property of the citizens is our prime responsibility and no laxity will be tolerated in this regard.
