Police conducted search, operation in different police stations

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital police conducted a search and combing operation in the jurisdiction of Karachi Company, Industrial Area and Sangjani police station, a police public relations officer said. He said that, following the special directives to IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, search and combing operations are being conducted in different areas of the city, to ensure the safety and security of the Islamabad citizens. Following these orders, a search and combing operation was conducted in different area’s by CTD and FC teams under the supervision of SP CTD. During the search operation 186 houses and 222 suspects, 47 Motorcycles and 10 vehicles were checked. More than 77 bottles liquor and one 12 Bore weapon with ammunition were recovered.
DIG Operation Sohail Zafar Chatha said that the purpose of the search and combing operations was to heighten the security in the federal capital.
