Seven criminals held; valuables and weapons recovered

ISLAMABAD, Nov 06 (NNI): Islamabad Capital police apprehended 07 criminals and recovered Valuables and weapons with ammunition from their possession, a police public relations officer said.
He said that DIG Operations Sohail Zafar Chatha had ordered all divisional police officers to curb the crime in their respective areas and arrest those involved in looting innocent people.
Following these directives, the phulghran police arrested an accused namely Ahmed khalil and recovered one 30 bore Pistol from his possession. Golra police arrested an accused Mumtaz and recovered one 30 bore pistol from his possession.
Similarly, Shalimar police arrested an accused namely Sadam and recovered stolen valuables from his possession. Kohsar police arrested an accused namely Shahbaz and recovered stolen valuables from his possession.
The DIG Operations Sohail Zafar Chatha said that the safety of the lives and property of the citizens is our prime responsibility and no laxity will be tolerated in this regard. NNI
