Islamabad (Staff Reporter) Allama Iqbal Open University Semester Spring 2023 Associate Degree (Arts, Commerce, Education) BBA, BS and B.Ed programs final exams will start simultaneously across the country from October 16. which will continue till December 15. The date sheet has been uploaded on the university website and the roll number slips on the CMS portals of the students. The concerned students have also been informed through mobile SMS. On the special instructions of the Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Nasir Mehmood, hundreds of examination centers at the regional level across the country to facilitate the students at the places closest to their residences. have been established. On the direction of the Vice-Chancellor, special committees have been set up to eliminate the phenomenon of duplication and ensure transparency in the examinations. In addition, a prestigious ceremony was held in the university yesterday to celebrate International Translation Day. Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Nasir Mehmood presided, Director General of Natural Language Processing Department, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saleem Mazhar was the special guest, University. Former Vice-Chancellor/ country’s well-known columnist, writer and educationist, Prof. Dr. Shahid Siddiqui was the guest of honor. Chairman of Center for Languages and Translation Studies, Dr. Ghulam Ali and Dr. Lubni Umar performed the duties of hosting. To pay tribute to and to highlight the importance of bringing nations closer to each other and increasing ties through languages. In the second phase of the ceremony, the English translation of Professor Dr. Shahid Siddiqui’s novel “Aadhe Adhure Khabam” was released. DIE’ event took place.
