5 Terrorists Eliminated in KP’s Tank District During IBO: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: In a decisive intelligence-based operation (IBO) on the night of 7/8 December 2023, security forces targeted terrorists in Mullazai, Tank District. Resulting from a fierce exchange of gunfire, five terrorists met their demise, said ISPR in a statement issued on Friday. These individuals were actively involved in various acts of terrorism, including attacks on Law Enforcement Agencies, extortion, and the targeted killing of innocent civilians.
The operation yielded a significant haul, including a cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives. The recovered materials underscore the gravity of the threat posed by the neutralized terrorists. Security forces are currently engaged in a sanitization operation to eradicate any remaining terrorists in the area. The commitment of Pakistan’s security forces to eradicating terrorism from the country is resolute, and ongoing efforts aim to ensure the safety of its citizens.
