Dateline Report
ISLAMABAD: In blatant disregard of the recent directive issued by the Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (ICT-PEIRA), ASAS School opens its doors at 7:30 AM, violating the stipulated opening time of not earlier than 8:30 AM during January and February 2024 due to extreme cold weather in Islamabad.

Despite the PEIRA advisory allowing flexibility in uniform policy for students to wear any sweater, blazer, coat, or jacket during these cold months, ASAS School remains non-compliant.

In response to inquiries and the PEIRA notification, the school’s principal claims that a formal response will be provided after consulting higher management. PIERA however failed to implement its SOPs. Parents have also demanded of PIERA to take stringent action against those educational institutions involved in massive violations of rules and regulations set by the educational regulator.
