Mr Ellahi- son of former member national assembly from Attock has said that the symbols which were allotted to ‘PTI candidates’ through a ‘conspiracy’ to confuse the party voters, have become irrelevant as the name of Imran Khan has turned into a “brand” and an election symbol for masses.Mr Zain said that the PTI ticket holder was allotted the election symbol of “fridge” and this election symbol is strong enough to defeat the political arch rivals who are contesting election with their symbols especially lion, arrow and crane. He alleged that institutions were facilitating pre-poll rigging. But results of the February 8 elections would be the same “as are evident” and that’s why efforts were under way to rig the poll. He claimed that PTI’s mandate was being stolen because it was going to win in the Feb 8 elections. He was of the view that masses would prove on Feb 8 that election results would be in favour of PTI regardless of all gimmicks and maneuverings.
