ISLAMABAD: The High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan, Ambassador Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, and his spouse, Madam Amelia Amani Azhar, hosted an Eid-Ul-Fitr Open House at the Malaysian High Commission’s Mayang Sari Hall on Friday. The event welcomed a diverse group of attendees, including members of the diplomatic corps, senior government officials, members from business community, media representatives, and the Malaysian diaspora.
The host and hostess, dressed in their national attire, along with their team and families at the High Commission, extended warm Malaysian hospitality to the guests. Attendees enjoyed a variety of traditional Malaysian and Pakistani dishes such as mee goreng, mutton curry, nasi goreng, satay with peanut sauce, and traditional Eid cookies.
The gathering celebrated the true spirit of friendship and peaceful coexistence between nations, particularly with the host country, Pakistan. In his address, Ambassador Azhar emphasized the importance of cultural understanding and mutual respect in strengthening bilateral ties. He highlighted the shared traditions that unite the people of Malaysia and Pakistan.
Ambassador Azhar expressed his gratitude to the guests for joining the celebration and reaffirmed Malaysia’s commitment to advancing cooperation with Pakistan in various fields, including trade, investment, education, and tourism.
The event was considered a success, showcasing the strong brotherly ties and cooperation between Malaysia and Pakistan
