LAHORE:Punjab cabinet has approved Consumer Protection Law 2025 after making an amendment in the Consumer Act 2005.A spokesman for the Price Control and Commodities Management Department said here on Thursday that this law would be enforced immediately in 34 districts of Punjab. He said that violating the Consumer Protection Law 2025 would result in a fine ranging from Rs 1,000 to Rs 100,000 and immediate action would be taken.Spokesman said that enforcement of this law would ensure the protection of consumer rights besides controlling unfair practices against consumers.
