ISLAMABAD:Inspector General of Police (IGP)  Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi organized a special ceremony in recognition of the Islamabad Traffic Police’s (ITP) successful driving licence awareness and facilitation campaign.The event was attended by senior police officers, Friends of Police, ITP officers, volunteers, and ministerial staff.An official told APP on Thursday that during the ceremony, IGP Rizvi highly appreciated the tireless efforts of all participants for making the campaign a success.
He said that the Islamabad Traffic Police has played a commendable role in promoting public convenience, legal compliance, and a responsible driving culture across the capital.He noted that such positive initiatives not only enhance public awareness about the law but also strengthen the bond of trust between citizens and the police.The IGP Rizvi further said that throughout the campaign, police officers and personnel demonstrated courtesy, cooperation, and dedication while assisting citizens.He directed that the same spirit should continue in future public facilitation projects to further build confidence and cooperation between the public and police.“Islamabad Police strongly believes in promoting community policing and will continue to take initiatives that bring ease and safety to citizens,” IGP Rizvi added.
