LAHORE: Punjab Police’s relentless crackdown on the Shar gang in Rahim Yar Khan’s Kacha Machka area has led to the elimination of yet another notorious criminal. Farooq Shar was pronounced deceased Monday, marking the fourth significant blow to the gang’s operations within the past 48 hours. In a targeted operation aimed at dismantling the stronghold of the Shar gang, Punjab Police announced the successful elimination of Farooq Shar. This development comes on the heels of yesterday’s apprehension of three prominent gang members: Alam Shar, Nazir Shar, and Hakim Shar.
DPO Rahim Yar Khan Rizwan Gondal disclosed that the police’s intensified efforts have focused on rooting out the Shar gang’s hideouts in Kacha Machka. Utilizing advanced weaponry, armored vehicles, and cutting-edge technology, Punjab Police have escalated their offensive against the criminal syndicate.
