ISLAMABAD: Iran Embassy in Islamabad hosted a solemn memorial ceremony to honor the martyrs of the recent tragic incident involving Iranian President Raisi, Foreign Minister Hussain Amirabdollahian, and their companions. The event, attended by dignitaries and representatives from both Pakistan and Iran, served as a poignant moment of reflection and solidarity between the two nations.
The ceremony began with recitations from the Holy Quran, followed by speeches from Pakistani officials expressing heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the Iranian government and people. Representatives from various sectors, including government, military, and civil society, paid tribute to the sacrifices made by the Iranian leaders and their companions in service to their nation.
In his address, a spokesperson for the Government of Pakistan reiterated the country’s unwavering support for Iran and emphasized the importance of maintaining strong bilateral ties in the face of adversity. He underscored Pakistan’s commitment to standing by its Iranian brothers and sisters during this challenging time.
Messages of condolence poured in from across Pakistan, with citizens expressing solidarity and empathy towards the Iranian people. Social media platforms were flooded with posts and messages, highlighting the deep-rooted bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two neighboring countries.

The memorial ceremony concluded with a moment of silence in honor of the fallen heroes, symbolizing the profound respect and reverence felt by both nations for their sacrifice.
