ISLAMABAD: The federal investigation agency (FIA) launched an investigation against the resident of Mohalla EIdgah Taxila for depriving hard earned money from people mostly retired government officials on the pretext of providing them plots in various government schemes especially Federal government housing society.The victims said that the suspect who runs a property business in gloves with officials of revenue department, stamp vendors and federal government employees housing authority (FGEHA) allegedly prepared fake agreements with people on the pretext of allotting them plots and flats and later went underground after picking the advance amount. The victims among them retired employees, traders and overseas Pakistanis have filed many first investigation reports (FIRs) against the said property dealer under section 406, 420, 468, 471 Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) for fraud but police failed to apprehend him due to reasons best known to them. The affected people informed that a case registered against him at Aabpara Police station under section 406 PPC in 2016, a case registered against him at RamnaPolice station under section 420, 468, 471 PPC in 2017, a case registered against him at same Police station under section 420 PPC in 2019 and a case registered against him at SabziMandi Police station under section 420PPC in 2021are still pending against him as the model police of federal capital is least interested to net the suspect due to the reasons best known to them. The affected retired government employees and public among them Raja Naseer Ahmed, Anwar Ali Shah, Hafiz Ghulam Rasool, Raja Tashfeen, Muhammad Aabid, Attique Ur Rehman, Raja Ilyas, Muhammad Ishfaq, Akhter Nawaz and others have called upon the director general federal investigation agency (FIA) and IG Islamabad Police to provide them justice and get retrieved their hard earned money which pocket the suspect with fraud from them for which they are running from pillar to post from last many years.
