AIG Finance SSP Muhammad Naveed chaired the 10th Police Pension Committee meeting at the Central Police Office. The meeting was attended by officers related to pension matters from all field formations of Punjab Police, including those from Lahore and regional offices, such as ADIGs, Assistant Directors, and Office Superintendents. A detailed review of issues related to police employees’ pensions was conducted during the meeting. AIG Finance Muhammad Naveed issued directives for the swift completion of pending pension cases for police employees. He instructed that all ADIGs, Assistant Directors, and Office Superintendents should complete pension cases within the specified time frame. Muhammad Naveed directed that all employees’ pension cases should be prepared online through the FMS system, and that service profiles for all employees be updated through the FMS system before the retirement. Muhammad Naveed instructed that all completed pension cases should be reported monthly to the Central Police Office before the 4th of each month. ADIGs, Assistant Directors, and Office Superintendents are bound to submit justification reports regarding pending cases. AIG Finance further instructed that No pendency of application Certificate may be provided during Police Pension Committee monthly meetings. Additionally, ADIGs, Assistant Directors, and Office Superintendents should begin processing pension cases 120 days before employees’ retirement dates. The meeting involved a detailed discussion on police employees’ pension matters, pending cases, and other professional issues.
