Rawalpindi:Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Colonel General Sergey Yurovich Strakov, met with Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza in Islamabad on Friday.According to ISPR, during the meeting, the parties expressed satisfaction over the positive development of bilateral defense cooperation and discussed the emerging security situation in the region to promote regional peace and stability.The distinguished guest praised the professionalism of Pakistan Armed Forces and acknowledged the sacrifices of Pakistan Armed Forces in the war against terrorism.Colonel General Sergey Yurovich Strakov is on an official visit to Pakistan.
