In Nankana Sahib, 02 people were killed by firing over land dispute

LAHORE: Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has taken notice of the incident of killing of 02 people in Nankana Sahib over Johar land dispute and has sought a report from RPO Sheikhupora. IG Punjab ordered DPO Nankana to form a special team to arrest the accused and said that the accused should be arrested as soon as possible and brought before the court of law. Dr. Usman Anwar directed that justice should be ensured to the families of the victims on a priority basis. Spokesperson of Punjab Police said that 04 accused killed 02 persons by firing on the issue of occupying Johar in Chak No. 17 Kadial, Jafar and Faisal are among the deceased, 03 persons were also injured in the incident, the injured were DHQ. The hospital has been shifted to Nankana.
