ASHGABAT : President Asif Ali Zardari and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin held an informal meeting on the sidelines of International Forum on “Interrelation of Times and Civilizations – Basis of Peace and Development” at Ashgabat in Turkmenistan on Friday.During the meeting, both the Presidents underlined the need of further strengthening bilateral ties.The two sides exchanged best wishes and pleasant words for each other.Earlier in the day, President Asif Ali Zardari held meeting with the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of Peoples Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in Ashgabat.Pakistan and Turkmenistan have desired to strengthen their bilateral ties in all spheres especially trade and connectivity.The meetings discussed entire gamut of bilateral relations.
