National Institute of Management 41st Mid-Career Management Course Islamabad delegation visited Regional Police Office Gujranwala.

Gujranwala: National Institute of Management 41st Mid-Career Management Course Islamabad delegation visited Regional Police Office Gujranwala. RPO briefed the participating delegation in detail about the working of Gujranwala region. Gujranwala Region Police is using all resources to further improve service delivery. (Regional Police Officer Tayyab Hafeez Cheema) The delegation of National Institute of Management 41st Mid-Career Management Course Islamabad visited the Regional Police Office Gujranwala. The officers welcomed, later the RPO briefed the participating delegation in detail about the working of Gujranwala Region, Gujarat, Sialkot, Mandi Bahauddin, Hafizabad and Narowal, in which the participants expressed deep interest. He was told that the police is using modern technology to maintain law and order and control the crime situation. Gujranwala Region Police is utilizing all resources to further improve service delivery. An integrated system has been created to control crime, which is yielding substantial results. Due to which dozens of gangs involved in theft and robbery have also been arrested. While answering the questions of the officers involved in the delegation, the RPO said that according to smart and community policing, the Punjab Police is protecting the life and property of the people and the law. In addition, RPO Tayyab Hafeez Cheema while giving a briefing to the participants of the delegation said that the projects started with the use of information technology such as the establishment of Police Service Centers, Women Enclave and Gujranwala would be briefed. It was said that women can come to the Women’s Enclave for any other organization-related issues such as women not getting a share in property, harassment and violence at work, getting a driving license and taking admission in women’s driving classes, among others. Important issues are also addressed. In Gujranwala Police, a Pink Wells Police Squad has been established for ladies police officers, with the aim of providing immediate protection to women. Criminal record management system and Safe City Authority, among other projects, have significantly improved police performance in Gujranwala. The police forces of Punjab Police have also made these modern softwares a part of their system. Finally, SSPRIB and SP Legal also presented a commemorative shield to the participating delegation on behalf of Gujranwala Region Police.
