Lahore:Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, has said that immediate steps must be taken to address the issues faced by police employees and their families, and that RPOs and DPOs should leave no stone unturned in ensuring the best welfare for the staff. IG Punjab emphasized that special measures should be taken for employees facing health issues. He expressed these views during a meeting with police employees and their families at the Central Police Office today. IG Punjab listened to the problems of the police employees and issued orders for immediate relief.IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed the Additional IG Punjab to provide relief regarding the promotion request of Lahore Police Sub-Inspector Khaliq Hussain. He also instructed the AIG Admin to provide relief regarding the transfer request of Special Protection Unit’s Naib Qasid Faheem Abbas. Dr. Usman Anwar issued relief orders for the request of retired constable Sajid Butt to the DIG IT. Regarding the promotion request of 7 Inspectors, IG Punjab instructed the Additional IG Punjab to provide relief according to merit. DIG Welfare and Finance was directed to provide relief for Traffic Warden Saqib Nadeem’s financial aid request, and the Additional IG Punjab was instructed to provide relief for Inspector Karim Nawaz’s promotion request. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar also issued orders concerning other requests related to discipline, administration, promotion, and welfare matters.
