Lahore:Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar suddenly reached Safe Cities Authority Okara and Sahiwal. On this occasion, RPO Sahiwal Mehboob Rashid, DIG Welfare and Finance Ghazi Muhammad Salahuddin, DPO Okara Muhammad Rashid Hidayat and DPO Sahiwal Rana Tahir Rehman Khan along with senior officers were present. IG Punjab inspected the Integrated Command and Control Room of Safe City Okara. DPO Okara Muhammad Rashid Hidayat briefed IG Punjab about the working and monitoring mechanism of Safe City Okara. IG Punjab reviewed the surveillance and monitoring process of different places in Okara with the help of Safe City Authority cameras and also spoke to the staff, inquired about the working environment and facilities. IG Punjab also visited different parts of the under-construction Smart Safe City Sahiwal. DPO Sahiwal while giving a briefing said that Safe City Authority Sahiwal will be completed and functional in the next 02 weeks. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that All cities in Punjab will be converted to Safe City by June 30.
