The nation stands firmly with its security forces in the fight against extremism, applauding their relentless efforts to restore peace.

A day earlier, security forces foiled a suicide attack on a checkpost in Jandola area of South Waziristan, killing 10 terrorists.

Terrorists attacked the FC checkpost, but the prompt action of security forces thwarted the assault. According to sources, a suicide bomber was killed during the retaliation, and several attackers were also neutralised.

A total of 156 terrorists were eliminated in February alone – a testament to the professionalism and dedication of the security forces.

Earlier today, Inter-Services Public Relations Director General Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, along with Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti, held a crucial press conference regarding the Jaffar Express attack.

Addressing the presser, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif stated that terrorists attacked the Jaffar Express on a difficult route, making it hard for security forces to reach the site. The railway track was blown up using IEDs, he said.
