Sheikhupura:Anti-Corruption Punjab has registered a case against Shoaib Hassan, the parking clerk of Khanqah Dogran Municipal Committee, for amassing assets beyond his means and misusing his powers and has started an investigation. Shoaib Hassan is accused of amassing bungalows, kothiyas, agricultural land, valuable vehicles and other assets worth crores of rupees. The parking clerk, who has been posted in the municipal committee for the past 10 years, has been allegedly involved in mega corruption. Anti-Corruption Punjab has registered a case on the written request of petitioner Javed Akhtar and the provision of initial concrete evidence. Shoaib Hassan, who is a parking clerk but is working as an accounts officer, has alleged that the accused has registered several acres of agricultural land in the names of his brothers and close relatives. The accused works as a contractor in the name of his relatives and embezzles huge amounts of money. Anti-Corruption Punjab has registered a case and started an investigation.
