Lahore:Under the instructions of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, a ceremony was held at the Central Police Office to confer the rank of Inspector on 57 officers who had been promoted. IG Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, personally awarded the rank of Inspector to the promoted officers. According to the spokesperson of Punjab Police, a large number of the promoted officers, along with their parents, children, and families, attended the ceremony. Dr. Usman Anwar, along with senior police officials, extended their heartfelt congratulations to the promoted Inspectors and their families. Dr. Usman Anwar mentioned that further promotions to the rank of Inspector are expected through a Promotion Board meeting scheduled for the end of this month. With the establishment of the CCD, promotions to an additional 449 positions for Inspectors are assured. Additionally, a Promotion Board meeting for the promotion of Senior Traffic Wardens to Traffic Officers is set to take place this Thursday. This year, nearly 4,500 promotions are expected across various ranks. IG Punjab emphasized the importance for officers to maintain their ACRs and complete service records. In return for their promotions and welfare, officers are expected to serve the citizens selflessly and ensure their safety without fear. Additional IG Punjab Sultan Ahmad Chaudhry, DIG Establishment-I, Suleman Sultan Rana, DIG Headquarters Dr. Muhammad Abid, DIG Welfare and Finance Ghazi Muhammad Salahuddin, DIG Establishment-II, Liaquat Ali Malik, AIG Welfare Abdul Rahim Shirazi, and AIG Finance Nida Umar Chatha, along with other senior officers, were present at the ceremony.
